5 things that I want to see change...challenge day 9

When I first saw this one for the challenge I thought, that is going to be a challenge. I don't know what I want to change. But today I thought of some things.

Number1: I want Keegan to start sleeping through the night. We have had some rough nights lately...I think it's partially due to Keegan and Kamryn having colds and then passing it on to me! I would love for him to sleep in his crib better. With Kade and Kamryn we eventually did the cry it out thing for a few nights and then they were able to sleep great on their own. (I think they are a little older than Keegan is now.)  Keegan is going to be tricky when the time comes to letting him cry it out. His bedroom is right next to Kamryn's. Which means that Kamryn will be up all night with him! So if anyone has any suggestions to help with the sleep situation I would love to hear them. You think I would be a pro since I just went through this less than a year ago...but I am far from it.  I do know that Keegan loves to sleep on his tummy. I am just a tad bit afraid of letting him sleep on his tummy at night (the whole SIDS thing and all). He does great at naps on his tummy though.

Number 2:  My pants size! I would love to lose some baby weight.  I really need to cut out all the crap I just LOVE to eat and exercise a little. It is so much harder than it sounds!

Number 3: The heat! I wish it didn't get so darn hot here! I mean come on now...does it really have to be 100 degrees in the middle of the night when the sun is down? Luckily it is getting a little cooler, which I am loving, but why does it have to get so hot in the first place?

Number 4: Family. I wish I lived closer to family.  I wish our parents could go to all of Kade's soccer games or that Kade could just spend the weekend or spend the night at his grandparents house and get spoiled rotten. I have fond memories of spending time at my grandparents houses and going there almost every Sunday as a kid.  I feel bad that my kids don't get to see their grandparents all the time. I feel bad that I have taken that chance away from them (for now anyways). That is a whole other post in itself!

Number 5: All I want is WORLD PEACE! haha I feel like I am in a beauty pageant! It would be nice to no longer be at war and to not hear all the bad things that are going on in the world. That is a big reason why I hardly ever watch the news or read the newspaper. Occasionally I  read about news on the internet, but it is usually sad and depressing. Why can't we all just get along?

It's like Miss Congeniality (spelled that right on the first try;)! I love that movie! I'm with you on the world peace. I get most of my news from facebook or my husband. We also watched this documentary on North Korea last night. Made me so grateful to live here.

Kami, are you putting rice in his last bottle for the night yet? That helped out all of my kids tremendously! It makes them feel more full all night so they can sleep. The only other thing would be a schedule and doing all the same things in the same order at the same time each night. I know that sounds difficult for some but it does help. The only downside to that is now if we are out at 7pm when Ramon should be taking a bath, eating and going to bed, it's hard to make him feel better...You'll get it...Don't worry!
