My cousin Amanda and her hubby Micah came over and went with us and the kids trick or treating. It was fun to have some family to hang out with on Halloween and the kids always love it when they come over!

The following day we had our ward Trunk or Treat!

IMG_0903Kamryn and Keegan did some pumpkin painting.

Kade played with his friends. Here is him and his friend Carter. We are sad  that him and his family will be moving to Utah soon!

One of the kids in Kade’s class has a haunted garage for Halloween so we dressed up and went to it one night and hit up Wendy’s afterwards for dinner!

Keegan didn’t want anything to do with the witch! She was such a great story teller!

Walk to Remember

I was able to volunteer for Lanee’s Legacy at Banner Desert’s Walk to Remember last Saturday. It was so neat to meet other Mom’s of angel babies and to help raise money for Lanne’s Legacy. I wasn’t good at taking pictures but if you go to their blog you can check them out!

They are having an upcoming fundraiser and YOU can donate a box in memory of Kooper or if you know or have a baby that was gone too soon. I will be volunteering at the event and my family will be making one in memory of Kooper. If you don’t live in the Phoenix area or can’t make it you can still donate a box in memory of Kooper or any baby who has passed on that you choose at their website. They will put together the box for you and will put the label on in memory of the baby who has passed.

Click HERE for information on the event.

I will also be accepting donations from family and friends that want to donate to this wonderful non for profit charity but do not have the ability to donate the cost of a box.I will accumulate to hopefully make even more boxes in memory of Kooper.

Lanee’s Legacy is so close to my heart, below are links to my past blog posts about this wonderful charity.

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day

October 15th is pregnancy and infant loss remembrance day. I received lots of sweet messages and friends. It really did mean a lot to me. Yesterday we remembered our sweet Kooper and all angel babies gone too soon! We love and miss you Kooper! There is not a day that goes by that you aren’t thought of or talked about in our family.

October so far…

My friend Nicolette and I took our kids to a park that had a splashpad…but the splashpad was closed for repairs so we went to the park area instead for a picnic. We all loaded up in my car. When we got back we let the kids jump on the tramp with the sprinkler under it. They kids had a blast!

Kade is the one bending over, hiking the ball.

Kamryn got these lovely scary teeth from the treasure box at school! She loves them!

She got to play goalie at her soccer game. And she did a little talking with one of her team mates on the field…I am guessing they were discussing hairstyles?? Keegan loves the games because he always gets a snowcone!

We watched LDS General Conference on TV.

The other night Kamryn requested sleeping with her Kooper Monkey! Found her fast asleep with it!

Hawaii Anniversary Trip – Day 5-7

Day 5 was a Saturday and we decided to head to the swap meet at Aloha Stadium. It rained a little but it was nice and felt good because this ended up being one of the hottest days during our stay. Ryan got a little high off bartering with all the little shops. We were pretty successful in finding some great deals on souvenirs. We even got a Hawaii License plate for Kade’s collection!
IMG_0446
I kept seeing Cardinals all over the place while we were there…I have only seen one in Arizona.
IMG_0445
Kade had his first flag football game of the season and Kamryn her first ever soccer game. Sad we were missing it but we were glad Grandma and Grandpa were there to watch and take pictures for us!
  IMG_0444   IMG_0448
When we got back it was time to go parasailing!!! The company we used was right next to our hotel so we just walked on over. IT was such an awesome experience. I was very nervous but once we got out there it was awesome! I was ready to come down once I got up there though. They even dipped us in the water too!
 IMG_0452
A final picture before we went up…just in case we didn’t make it back!

 IMG_0456
We made it! Another item checked off the bucket list! I don’t know how high we went. There were 3 other groups of 2 that went up while we were out and they let us out the same distance…partially because the workers inside didn’t tag us with our rope length. The longer your rope length the more expensive it is.
 IMG_0458
Our final Hawaiian sunset. I was sad that it was coming to an end but I was sure missing my kids! IMG_0459

Our very last day we went and had breakfast and then walked around and explored a little. We did a lot of walking around.

So I have to say that I was diligent about using sunscreen. i did forget to put it on before our dolphin encounter so I did get a small burn. But for the most part I was whiter than when I came so the day before our last day I decided to lay out on the beach and by the pool for a little while with no sunscreen….well lets just say those 2 hours really did it! I was toast! Came back with a lovely burn! So I do recommend sun block! It did turn into a nice tan and then about 2 weeks later I peeled like crazy!

We were glad to see our kids when we got home! They were glad to see us but sad to see Grandma and Grandpa go!
