The Zoo

So this week Kade is out of school on spring break so I figured we better have fun! Today we went to the Wildlife World Zoo. The kids had a blast!

On Saturday we painted Kade’s room and got rid of the beautiful art work created by Kamryn!

Here is the finished product. We still have a few things to put up on the walls and we are collecting license plates to border the top of his wall. He loves it!

He is getting something for his Birthday that will go on this wall.

 

No more naps

Kamryn rarely gets naptime anymore because if she does nap she is up until 10pm. If she doesn’t nap she is out in about 5 minutes. If I try and let her have a short nap she just get super cranky, so I usually stick with no nap unless she just falls asleep in random places…she is so silly!

  

Below is a close up of what she looked like on the floor.

Sometimes she sneaks into the hallway or Kade’s room and falls asleep. Love that silly girl! Or if she is really tired a quick trip to pick up Kade from school can knock this girl out!

 

Gotta add a cute one of Keegan, so relaxed! This kid is a GREAT sleeper!

Fun at the Park

  It’s nice to have the park just around the corner. The kids have been enjoying the weather and have been outside so much and they love it! 

Potty Training

Well it’s not going that well….so we try when we try and sometimes she goes on the potty and sometimes she sits there for 45 minutes and then I let her off and we will try in 15 minutes and before I know it she has an accident. It’s really hard for me not to get distracted doing something to help Keegan and before I know it she has run off and peed somewhere. I read a great blog about potty training so I may be trying a different method soon.So I am not pushing her yet. She is taking baby steps towards wanting to be a big girl so we have come a little way. Keegan on the other hand is very interested but so not ready. Hopefully soon though because it would be great to not have to buy diapers (especially for 2 kids!) Two nights ago I asked if she needed to go, she said yes, I sat her down and a few minutes later, she said, “I DID IT!” She is getting there. I am sure it won’t be too much longer.

Valentine’s Day

So i am playing catch up because I have been a total slacker! I did 14 days of Valentines for Ryan this year. I got the idea from Pinterest and used some free printables from a blog which I am too lazy right now to look up. Some of the pics are a little blurry….

  This one’s my personal favorite! It says (in case you can’t read it) Even if I got asked out by Adam Levine, I’d still “chews” you! Ryan’s response was, “Yeah right I saw you drooling over him last night (watching the voice)”

Then for the last day we sent him on a scavenger hunt for his present…

Kade had a good Valentine's Day at school and loves the puzzle Valentines he got.

 

Keegan had fun earlier that day playing with his little girlfriend Sami. We had lunch made Valentines cards for Dad and cookies too!

Kamryn was sooo pooped she fell asleep on the couch.
