I just wanted to share a beautiful poem that Jenna and I saw framed at Deseret Book.

What God has Promised

God has not promised
Skies always blue,
Flower-strewn pathways
All our lives through.
God has not promised
Sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow,
Peace without pain.
But God has promised
Strength for the day,
Rest for the laborer,
Light on the way,
Grace for the trials,
Help from above,
Unfailing sympathy,
Undying love.

Boys will be boys!!!

Sometimes you just have to sit back and let your little boy play in the dirt. Today was one of those days. Even though less than an hour ago Kade just got out of the tub I let him play. What does he do??? Throw dirt on his head and everywhere!!!!

Kade can always bring a smile to my face!

I'm so lucky to have such a happy little boy! I just wish he would listen a little better! haha

More scrapbooking

I enjoyed scrapbooking so much yesterday that I did some more today. That is an accomplishment for me considering I have done maybe 1 page in the past year. Jenna wanted to see them so I thought I would just share with EVERYONE! I am not too impressed by the footprint the nurse did. I wish I would have asked her to do another one, and also I wish I would have done both hands and both feet. Oh well I can't do anything about that now. The plastic you see over the hand/footprints are to protect it from ruining the page protector. For some reason the ink isn't very dry still. My fingers got black just touching it.

New Scrapbook Pages

So today after a fun day with Jenna, Sumner and SaraJane, Kade fell asleep within 10 minutes. So instead of being bored and depressed I decided to rip out the scrapbooking supplies and scrapbook some of Kooper's ultrasound pictures. It'e been a while, but it was perfect because when Kade woke up at 6:30 PM (he is gonna be up all night) from his nap, I was just done cleaning up. Thought I would share them with all of you. ENJOY!

Boys and Make-up

So this morning while I was taking a shower Kade wasn't watching Clifford. He was in my make-up!! It is kind of my fault because I have been keeping my make-up in his bathroom because I get ready in there. (It's just too hot to use a straightening iron in my bathroom) I was very lucky he had only gotten to the eye shadow and not the mascara or lipstick! Below is the evidence!

One month already!

It's already been 1 month since we buried our precious son Kooper. Who would have thought we would bury a child? I never in my worst nightmares thought that my little baby Kooper would leave this mortal life before me.

Today we went to visit his grave and put some sunflowers in his vase. I forgot my camera so I didn't get a picture, but I thought I would post some pictures of the service. We are in the process of getting his headstone ordered. I just saw a proof today and have some changes. I will definitely take some pictures once we get it done!
