Update 11:56pm

So i'll (Ryan) be doing the rest of the updates from here on out.

Kami is dialated to a 3, so Pitocin to begin sometime in the next couple hours and i'm sure she'll progress along quickly like our other pregnancies have. Might be a good time to get some rest, but i'm so anxious and excited to see our little Keegan. We will be deciding on his middle name as soon as we see his cute little face.

We're debating either Krue or James.

We are here!

We are here! I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from the hospital saying that had an open bed around 9:45pm. And an hour later I am sitting in my hospital bed waiting for the nurse to come hook me up with an IV…yay! Unfortunately we have been having problems getting the page to pull up...it takes about 5 minutes! So hopefully our updates won't be too far behind. I can hardly believe that the day has come. The time has gone by so fast but I am ready. I told my Mom today that I feel like the Mom in one of the Bernstein Bears books where the boy get s new baby sister. It showed the Mom gradually getting bigger and the little boy slowly not being able to fit on his Mama's lap! I remember that book from when I was a little girl. I can barely fit Kamryn on my lap comfortably without her kicking or elbowing me in the belly.

We had a nice Sunday went to church and then to visit Kooper. Put up a few new decorations for him and cleaned of his marker. Ryan even got the wax out!

Keegan probably won't be here until sometime tomorrow but we will keep you updated!

I love my Mom!

My Mom is here! YAYYY!!! I am so glad that she was able to come down, especially for this special event! Kade was so excited and still is (so am I). I love it when she visits and I love spending time with her. Kade's so glad that he gets a room mate for a week and someone that will actually get down and play cars with him. (I know I am a bad Mom and HATE to play cars). Maybe my Mom is more willing to play cars with him because she had all girls and never had little boys asking her daily to play cars with them!

It's hard to believe that it's almost time. In 24 hours I will be getting ready to go to the hospital to be induced. CRAZY! I am super excited and ready to get this boy out! I had a 6am wake up call this morning thanks to Kamryn (who by the way has a small part of her bottom tooth peaking out) so I am beat! Ready to go to bed so I can get my rest in. Church early in the morning and probably an all nighter Monday night!

Tomorrow's post will probably be the first of many updates on the delivery proccess/birth of Baby Keegan!

Fun at the pool!

Don't you just love the smell and stickiness of Aloe Vera? Today after lots of cleaning I took the kids to the local pool since I probably won't be taking them the rest of the summer unless Ryan has the day off work. They had a blast. I didn't get any pictures because I was holding Kamryn most of the time and didn't even bring the camera because I knew I wouldn't get the chance to take any cute pictures of them in the pool. Kamryn just wanted to walk right in after Kade (with a little help from Mom, cuz she isn't quite walking alone). Kade really wanted me to take him down the slide. I obviously couldn't being pregnant and having to hold Kamryn. It kind of makes me mad because they tease them. The last day of swimming lessons the teacher takes them down the slides on their lap and makes sure they don't go under the water at the end. Well there is a rule that you can only go down single person and I am pretty sure there is another rule that you can't have life vests on. So he didn't get to go on the slide. Maybe when we go to Utah the rules will be different at the pool and someone will be able to take him down the slide. All in all we had fun and it was nice to cool off in this HOT weather!

There is one small little problem when being the only adult going to the pool. SUNSCREEN. I didn't have sunscreen on my back for obvious reasons. I couldn't reach it and didn't want big streaks all over my back. I could have let Kade attempt putting it on me, but again I didn't really want stripes on my back. We were only there an hour but that hour was long enough to turn my back BRIGHT RED! When the pain started to kick in I decided that Kade needed to be a helper and talked him into rubbing aloe vera all over my back! (what a nice kid!)

I am pretty sure Kamryn will have at least 1 tooth by her birthday! I see it coming and I feel it too! I have a good feeling that it's going to pop through any day now. It was super cute...today when I was feeding Kamryn dinner every time I gave her a bite she would smack her lips. And also she said Baby today! I can't believe how fast she is learning things. She is growing up too fast. She was even trying to snap her fingers at dinner.

Kade is so excited for his Grandma Keren to come. He has been counting down the days and is looking forward to her playing cars with him.

Well I am off to rub Aloe Vera on the parts of my back I can actually reach. Hopefully the pain is gone by Sunday night.

Keegan update....cooking a little longer!

Obviously I didn't get induced today! There was a small chance so this morning I woke up and got ready and made sure I got a pedicure in before my doctors appointment. I am kind of glad that I wasn't induced yet even though I am ready! I just want my doctor to deliver my baby and even though it's kind uncomfortable (mostly at night) I am going to miss the belly. I am looking forward to finally wearing regular clothes and working out and trying to get somewhat of a body back so that I can wear this cute swimsuit I bought from Lime Ricki. I always miss the tiny kicks the most! Plus I really want my Mom to be here. She hasn't had the chance to be here when any of my other kids were born and I think that it would be special to have her here. And lastly I still have some time to get last minute things done....like deliver this stack of "Thank You" cards that have been sitting on my counter, and other little things like that.

Keegan's last ultrasound went well. I had a fear that he turned and went breech on me because of some acrobatics he was doing last night. But luckily he stayed put! I am dilated to a 2! YAY!!!! I am excited to meet our little man and see his cute little face! It's so weird though, I don't think I have ever been this patient about having a baby. Maybe it's due to the fact that I still have a baby at home? Or the fact that my doctor is on the other side of the country?

I love not being the only girl!

I can't get Kade to watch So You Think You Can Dance with me.... as for Kamryn....

Just like her Mama, loves to watch it! It's so nice to have someone on my side, especially after living with all boys for 4 years!

Baby update and a silly boy!

Kade learns the meaning of starving, well sort of.

Kade: Mom, we should go to the mall cuz I am starving.

Me: We just ate dinner, why are you hungry?

Kade: I am not hungry.

Me: Starving means that you are hungry.

Kade: Oh, I'm not starving.

So I have a little update...I went to the doctor today. My doctor is on vacation so I saw the PA instead but first I had my regular BPP ultrasound along with an EFW (estimated fetal weight) which shows that Keegan is estimated at weighing 8 pounds 8 ounces but is doing great other than he is a BIG BOY (which we already know). The PA was concerned about his weight and talked to the other doctor in the office about inducing me tonight. Well they decided to wait since I am already set up to be induced on Sunday night. But they are having me come back Thursday, so there is a small chance that Thursday night I could be induced or maybe there is a FAT chance I could go into labor before they get to induce me Sunday (which knowing my body, wouldn't happen.)

We will see what happens. I gotta get a pedicure soon just in case Thursday I get sent straight to L&D!
