Part 1 of our visit from Grandma and Grandpa Williams

Kamryn came shopping with the girls. She rearranged the shoe displays and even started trying a couple pairs on!

I didn’t get very many pictures of them swimming, but for Daion’s birthday they rented a hotel room and stayed over night and swam in the pool. Kamryn was a little nervous but after warming up to it she didn’t want to get out. Keegan on the other hand wanted to jump in and swim all by himself. HE had a blast!Kamryn and Tasia

My parents dog made himself at home. When he thought we had all left the house I had to come back in for something and there he was relaxing on the couch! I think it’s funny that he likes to have a blanket over his head when he goes to bed… 

Neighborhood block party

At the end of March our neighborhood had a block party at the park near our house. The kids had a blast!

Kamryn’s Room

We finished painting Kamryn’s room right before my parents, niece and nephew came to visit. I knew I didn’t want to do pink. I really wanted to do bead board again but I didn’t feel like spending the money and Ryan didn’t really want to go through it again. So I decided on green for the color. We did a fresh coat of white paint on the top and added some chair rail. I still have a little bit more to do. I want to do something on the white wall above her kitchen…I am thinking of hanging a few different sun hats for her to use for dress up. Then I am still debating on painting the dark wood book shelf and then also putting a cute vinyl saying above the mirror over her bed.

March Randomness

Here are so random pictures from March that I didn’t blog about…

My Parents came down and we went to the NASCAR race. It was a warm day. Got a nice sunburn!

 

Kamryn’s hair is getting so long, still thin but long! She likes her hair done like Rapunzel (braids). One day I will learn to French braid!

 

We have spent a lot of time outside having picnics and playing in this beautiful weather. I am not looking forward to the heat of the summer though!

 Kade has been such a great kid lately. Listening at school and at home. This quarter at school he got a Character award. We are so proud of him! He is such a boy and always taking his shirt off. Unfortunately Kamryn wants to follow him and take her shirt off. We are still teaching her about modesty:)

 

Mr. Keegan loves to get into Mommy’s makeup and make us laugh with silly faces and sunglasses!   

The Zoo

So this week Kade is out of school on spring break so I figured we better have fun! Today we went to the Wildlife World Zoo. The kids had a blast!

On Saturday we painted Kade’s room and got rid of the beautiful art work created by Kamryn!

Here is the finished product. We still have a few things to put up on the walls and we are collecting license plates to border the top of his wall. He loves it!

He is getting something for his Birthday that will go on this wall.

 

No more naps

Kamryn rarely gets naptime anymore because if she does nap she is up until 10pm. If she doesn’t nap she is out in about 5 minutes. If I try and let her have a short nap she just get super cranky, so I usually stick with no nap unless she just falls asleep in random places…she is so silly!

  

Below is a close up of what she looked like on the floor.

Sometimes she sneaks into the hallway or Kade’s room and falls asleep. Love that silly girl! Or if she is really tired a quick trip to pick up Kade from school can knock this girl out!

 

Gotta add a cute one of Keegan, so relaxed! This kid is a GREAT sleeper!
