Disneyland Day 2 (California Adventure)!

    

First ride of the day…Ariel!

It was so fun to walk through Radiator Springs!

           

We got to see Donald Duck!

Keegan got to participate in one of the street shows. He got a little embarrassed and snuck away from all those girls! I got it all on camera!

  

We went on a lot of the Bug’s Life rides. Ashley, Maleaha and Keegan were in our box. Above is Tasia, Kamryn, Daion and Kade.

Ashley, my mom and I took Kamryn, Keegan and Maleaha to Disney Jr. live while the big kids went on Roller coasters. While we were waiting we saw Sully but he left and wouldn’t even wave and look at Keegan. He was pretty disappointed!

He wouldn’t even smile for a picture afterwards.

The kids had a blast at Disney Jr. Live! Then we met up with everyone else and went on Radiator Springs… 

Grandma Keren, Kamryn and Grandpa Tim in the back and Ryan, Keegan and I in the front. It was a lot of fun. The kids were a little scared. The wait was forever long!!!! Fun part was just as we were about to the front of the line Keegan had to go potty and couldn't hold it much longer. Ryan had to run down the exit as fast as he could with Keegan and heat to the nearest bathrooms which aren’t close. We all had to stand off to the side and wait. It was sure a fun ride though!

Then we called it a night! We were beat!

Disneyland Day 1

So I did research before we went to Disneyland. I wanted to be prepared and try and save money. I read LOTS of blogs on all of that and was somewhat prepared going in but still nervous that we would waste time in between rides trying to decide what to do next and go from one side to the other constantly but actually it all turned out good!

I bought glow necklaces at the dollar store along with autograph books for the kids. Packed lots of snacks, water and capri suns for the kids. Chapstick, headache medicine, hand sanitizer that I attached to the stroller for easy use! I had it all! haha! I even had Ryan buy some USB battery chargers so we could charge our phones incase we used up all the battery taking pictures and letting the kids play with the phones while we waited in line.

  

The first thing we did when we walked into the park was see Minnie Mouse! We were lucky enough to get a picture and her autograph before she had to leave. We saw Mickey too but he was in more of a hurry and just waved!  Then we were off to the teacups while some of the others went to get fast passes for Space Mountain!

   

While we went on the teacups Ryan and Kade got to see Hook! He made fun of Ryan’s (my) lanyard that held our tickets and fastpasses.

Let’s say doing Space Mountain as your 3rd ride isn’t smart with little ones. Kamryn and Keegan were terrified! There trust for us was gone!

We had a yummy dole whip! Yummy! Took me back to The Dole Pineapple Plantation in Hawaii!   

Keegan licked the bowl clean! Kamryn enjoyed the Rock wall we sat next to and decided to do a little climbing.

We didn’t get to meet the Frozen sisters but we did walk by there little house and peeked in!    

 

We ended our night with The Tower of Terror! This was mine and Kade’s first time! The last time I was at Disneyland I was pregnant and didn’t get to go! I am in the middle row on the far left. The it goes Kade, my Mom and Tasia. Then above us is Daion, Ashley, Maleaha (covered by my mom’s head) and Jared. Glad I didn’t force the little kids on this one. They would have HATED me! We went on a bunch of other rides and had a great time! We were sad that Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain and Finding Nemo were all closed and under maintenance :(

Early Spring Break!

We decided to take an early spring break and meet some of my family in California and got to DISNEYLAND! We didn’t tell the kids we were going until the night before and they were sooo excited. Kamryn did say in a disappointed voice, “oh…I thought we were going to Hawaii.” I am sure she wouldn’t have had as much fun there!

  We didn’t hear much from Kade. He was watching movies with his headphones on the whole time…we only heard from him when he wanted to know if were were there yet…or that he needed to go to the bathroom!

Finally got to the hotel and there first thing the kids wanted to do was go swimming! So we did. Or they did! The pool was not heated so it was a bit cold. Luckily they had a kiddie pool for Kamryn and Keegan to play in so I didn’t have to get wet. Kade and Daion got to go swimming pretty much every night when we got back from Disneyland!

Getting ready for Valentines Day!!!

Kade’s class had a Valentines box decorating contest…he got second. I was pretty sure he was going to win….but the kid who made a bat-mobile valentines box won. It was fun anyway!    

January 2014!

The kids started in their new church classes! Keegan was sick and missed his first day of being a Sunbeam!
We had our dance competition!  here we are in our Nerd costumes!!! We had a blast!

Kade started basketball! He loves it!!!
