My Birthday!

On Saturday it was my birthday. I will never forget when Kade was born I got to come home from the hospital on my birthday, Best birthday present EVER! We decided to go to a Diamondbacks game. It was fun but Keegan didn’t want much to do with sitting Keegan was really disappointed they had an age limit on one of the playground areas…he thinks he is a big boy!

Then that night Ryan and I went on a second date that week. We went to dinner at the Olive Garden and earlier in the week we went to the Hunger Games movie! It was a great birthday and the first birthday since I got married and moved to AZ that I got to spend it with my parents.

At the Splash Pad!

The morning after Kade’s birthday he woke up with a fever. He started feeling better later that day and we decided to take some new flowers to Kooper at the cemetery.

Then we stopped at Westgate and played at the Splash Pad.

   

Kade’s 7th Birthday!

I can’t believe my baby is turned 7! Time is going by so fast! I put streamers on Kade’s door to surprise him when he woke up. He loved it and didn’t want to take them down. We finally took them down yesterday.I also bought the letters to make this happy birthday banner since last year our Happy Birthday Banner ripped.

I got him donuts for his breakfast birthday (this kid loves donuts!). Before school he opened presents from family. The kids all got angry bird shirts to wear to the birthday party. Notice them scattered across the floor?

Then that night we had his birthday party with his friends at Pump It Up!

    

Happy Birthday Kade! We love you so much and are so proud of you. You are a great big brother and a wonderful son even if you threw a rock over the fence and put a hole in the neighbors window.

Kamryn came shopping with the girls. She rearranged the shoe displays and even started trying a couple pairs on!

I didn’t get very many pictures of them swimming, but for Daion’s birthday they rented a hotel room and stayed over night and swam in the pool. Kamryn was a little nervous but after warming up to it she didn’t want to get out. Keegan on the other hand wanted to jump in and swim all by himself. HE had a blast!Kamryn and Tasia

My parents dog made himself at home. When he thought we had all left the house I had to come back in for something and there he was relaxing on the couch! I think it’s funny that he likes to have a blanket over his head when he goes to bed… 

Neighborhood block party

At the end of March our neighborhood had a block party at the park near our house. The kids had a blast!

Kamryn’s Room

We finished painting Kamryn’s room right before my parents, niece and nephew came to visit. I knew I didn’t want to do pink. I really wanted to do bead board again but I didn’t feel like spending the money and Ryan didn’t really want to go through it again. So I decided on green for the color. We did a fresh coat of white paint on the top and added some chair rail. I still have a little bit more to do. I want to do something on the white wall above her kitchen…I am thinking of hanging a few different sun hats for her to use for dress up. Then I am still debating on painting the dark wood book shelf and then also putting a cute vinyl saying above the mirror over her bed.

March Randomness

Here are so random pictures from March that I didn’t blog about…

My Parents came down and we went to the NASCAR race. It was a warm day. Got a nice sunburn!

 

Kamryn’s hair is getting so long, still thin but long! She likes her hair done like Rapunzel (braids). One day I will learn to French braid!

 

We have spent a lot of time outside having picnics and playing in this beautiful weather. I am not looking forward to the heat of the summer though!

 Kade has been such a great kid lately. Listening at school and at home. This quarter at school he got a Character award. We are so proud of him! He is such a boy and always taking his shirt off. Unfortunately Kamryn wants to follow him and take her shirt off. We are still teaching her about modesty:)

 

Mr. Keegan loves to get into Mommy’s makeup and make us laugh with silly faces and sunglasses!
