New job!

So for those of you out there that haven't heard or didn't see my sweet husband's blog...I am finally putting my very EXPENSIVE schooling to work! (believe me it's expensive, I am seeing the wrath of it now!)

So tomorrow I start my new job at a sleep study clinic. Basically I will be hooking up patients to all sorts of monitors and I will monitor their apneic episodes. If they get really bad I will hook them up to a CPAP machine that keeps their airway open and helps them sleep without interruptions.

I am very excited to start my new career. I have been very blessed throughout my schooling with a job that has been very flexible with my crazy school schedule and the people I worked with were wonderful and hard to leave.

I knew after we had Kooper that I would be starting a new career, but I didn't realize how ready I would be to start it. I thought it was going to be a very dreadful day leaving my infant son at a daycare with all those lovely viruses and bacterias! I thought I would be a mess of a mom scared to death because strangers would be watching my baby!

I am sad that I don't have that worry, I am sad that I don't get to see his smiling face everyday. I am sad that I don't get to cradle him in my arms, hear him cry, make silly noises and even change his poopy diapers. I am sad that I don't hear a screaming baby that is depending on me to provide and nurture to his every need.

But I am happy to know that my Kooper is with our Heavenly Father and all of his family and friends from the premortal life. He is serving a much greater mission in heaven. I am happy and grateful that he is my little boy. I am grateful that I got to spend 38 weeks and 2 days with him kicking and flipping around inside me. He left his mark (literally), but I am glad. I am happy to be a Mother of a chosen spirit that is perfect and pure. I can't wait until the day that we will meet again and our family will be together again.

So wish me luck! It's been a while since I started a new job, and I need all the luck I can get.

Kooper's Monkey

So last February when my parents were visiting for my graduation we went to The Phoenix Zoo. We bought Kade a stuffed monkey named Swinger. So when we went to bury Kooper we wanted Kade to be able to give Kooper something. Since his room was a monkey theme and I refered to him as my little monkey, and because it basically felt like I had a monkey in my tummy! We wanted to give Kooper a monkey like Kades.

I looked everywhere for this monkey and found out that Swinger was a retired TY Beanie Buddy. So we asked Kade if he wanted to give his monkey to Kooper to keep him company. And Kade said yes and he was more than willing to give his monkey to him. What an awesome big brother! You can see in my first post in July the monkey sitting looking over Kooper during the memorial.

So I decided that I wanted to get more monkeys one for Kade to remember his little brother by and one to display in our house. So I am searching all over ebay and Kade is looking over my shoulder and I find the monkey and immediately he says, "It's Kooper's monkey!" So I decided to buy a few since I will never be able to find these again.

Well today we got our monkeys and Kade was so excited. He has been carrying it around everywhere and talking about how Kooper has one just like that one. I just wanted to share some pictures the first one is of Kade giving his monkey to Kooper at the memorial. Sorry we didn't get the best picture of that, and then the others are of Kade and his monkey that's just like Koopers!

Saturday Night Live

Thought this was funny. I was looking forward to seeing it since I had heard rumors that Tina Fay was going to act as Sarah Palin. I just watched Baby Mama last night with the two of them in it. It was pretty funny.

8 weeks already!

Eight weeks ago I had my little Angel Kooper. It is hard to believe how fast time flies. I just wanted to share a few pictures that I will cherish forever, from pregnancy to his birth.

Kade wearing his Big Brother shirt on Thanksgiving Day. This is the day we told our families by e-mailing the picture of Kade in his cool shirt!

5 months pregnant with my little Kooper. Kade and I showing off our bellies and my white legs!

Kooper even got to go to Disneyland! I didn't get to go on very many rides since I was pregnant but I still had lots of fun.

Koopers Room

The last picture taken of me pregnant. This is Kade and I visiting Jenna and Baby Jane at the hospital exactly 1 week before Kooper was born.

Kooper, You'll always be my baby! I love you little monkey! I wish I could hold you close and give you lots and lots of kisses!

Baby Showers....

I had so much fun with Jenna while we were pregnant. It was fun to share the wonderful stories of being pregnant from morning sickness to contractions! I am glad we could be there for each other! Those 9 months hold alot of fun memories. It was fun to talk about the future of raising our new babies together and finding coordinating outfits to dress them up in and take their pictures. I am sad that we didn't and don't get to do that, but I am so glad that I was able to be pregnant with one of my best friends! I would do it all over again even knowing what I know now.

Brothers Forever!

Kade loves his little brother. He was soo excited to meet him. He loves babies! He used to always ask to hold baby Landon (our friend Nickey and Jordan's little boy), but now that baby Landon is on the move and getting bigger he can't hold him. He loves to hold SarahJane, aka Baby Jane. Baby Jane and Kooper would have been exactly a week apart. Kade always talked to Kooper and told him he loves him.

He talks about him often and we remind him that he is in heaven with Heavenly Father and Jesus. Just this morning Kade pointed to a picture of Kooper hanging in our bedroom and said, "That's Kooper!" and within a few minutes he was telling me, "I wanna see Baby Jane." Kade would have been such a great big brother. Kooper is a lucky boy to have such a great big brother. The other day Kade was looking at pictures of Kooper with me and said, "Kooper's soo cute!"

I look forward to the day that I meet my Kooper again, and to the day that our whole family will be together again. Especailly Kade and Kooper!
